  • Please check out the 5.0 Developer Preview to get an early look at the new coding structure and features of our next major Sugar release. Learn more about this release in this forum thread.
  • We are planning a 4.5.1.e release in the next few weeks to address some customer issues and to incorporate some community code contributions.
  • The Chicago Sugar Developer User Group (SDUG) is looking for someone to take over the organization of the group, as leader Max Blackmer is moving out of the area. If you are interested, please contact Max directly.

  • Sugar University is offering live in-person Administrator training sessions this summer. This comprehensive two-day learning session provides system administrators with the skills and best practices to administer Sugar for optimum results. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, students will learn and apply the key competencies needed to set up, configure, maintain, and customize Sugar. Catch us in Atlanta on July 30-31 and in New York City on August 23-24. We're also making plans to offer the class in Europe in mid-September.

Podcast Series on iTunes

We have been adding new episodes twice a week to our series of podcasts. These two to three minute audio podcasts are called "60 Second Sugar Snippets" and are available on iTunes and on our website.

SugarMini is June's Project of the Month

This month we feature an interview with Jakob Ricny and the SugarMini Project.

SugarMini is a wireless plugin which allows other-the-air synchronization for many SugarCRM modules. The client is currently available for java-enabled phones and Blackberry. The Windows Mobile client will be available shortly.
