Release Candidate Now Available!

We have made the decision to post a "Release Candidate" rather than going straight to General Availability (GA). We felt that the amount of very good feedback from the community warranted another round of testing and feedback to ensure stability. Doing this will also allow additional test coverage for the plug-ins. Here's the one-stop shop for 5.0 pre-release links:

Note that Release 5.0 RC is for testing purposes only. We encourage you to test the upgrade procedures and other RC features on a test system - not production. Only Release 5.0 GA is for production use. Moreover, Sugar provides an upgrade path only from previous to new GA releases, not from RC to GA release. Thus there is no Release 5.0 RC to Release 5.0 GA upgrade path provided. Sugar at this time plans to provide an upgrade path from 4.5.1 versions to 5.0.

Sugar Open Source 4.5.1h has been released. Download it here. This patch addresses two key security fixes:
- It is possible as a non-admin user to edit another Employee's records (bug 17345)
- Thread: Any php file can be uploaded and executed trhough the Documents module (bug 17767)
We encourage all customers using Sugar v4.5.1 to upgrade to this patch immediately.
