Posted By: Robert Nicholson I have just uploaded a new HD video to YouTube. It shows one of the demos for SugarCon. Jerry will be showing part of this in his keynote, Faster, Cheaper, Better: Pick Any Three. And I will be going through it in more depth in our breakout or on the stand. Our session is Mixing Java and PHP with Sugar and WebSphere sMash The video shows of sMash’s ability to mix Java and PHP using Apache POI Java libraries from PHP. The flow tooling is used to build an process to receive and process emails and the REST2SOAP layer of the Connection API is used to insert data into SugarCRM. Part of the scenario involves interfacing to existing enterprise systems using WebSphere MQ and JMS and we show just how easy this can be using sMash. The scenario is automation of an ad-hoc process which today involves emailing spreadsheets to a human who updates a system in a factory. We automate this with sMash and SugarCRM.
