Version 2.0 with new features

Reviewed by jakebuttikofer (01/03/2012)

Thanks Casey for your feedback. We really appreciate direct input from our users as it helps us make the product as great as possible. Check out our new Version 2 just released! I think you'll find that it resolves the issues you were having.

*We now show the exact link clicked on
*Invalid email addresses are now specified in the results
*We've redesigned the install/uninstall process to make it more streamlined
*There is now an import function to import contacts into Sugar from CC

There must be two separate opt-outs, as you can send campaigns through Sugar, and you can send campaigns through Constant Contact. If someone opt's out from a Sugar mailing, that doesn't necessarily mean they've opted out or wish to opt out from Constant Contact.

Thanks again for the review! Please feel free to call or email me with any other concerns.

Used the trial for one month

Sorry guys. I wish this was a happier report - it would save me a bunch of time.
It's easy to install.

BUT
While it does show open and click through activities on the contact record in Sugar, it doesn't show the specific link they clicked on (which is pretty important when you have more than one link in your emails).

It does not synch invalid email addresses - so a bounce in CC does not show invalid in Sugar.

This system creates an additional "Constant Contact opt-out" field, meaning you will have to tell your people to not use the opt-out box that comes standard in Sugar next to the email address (you cannot hide/delete the Sugar opt-out field) or you have to tell them to continue using the standard opt-out and mass update the CC opt-out field according to the Sugar opt-out field before sending.

WARNING: When I uninstalled using the module loader it crashed Sugar for all our users (running repair doesn't help) - nothing viewing under Contacts or Leads - I called Sugar Support immediately and they got it fixed within 15 minutes.

Let me know when you come out with a new version that addresses these problems. (I actually may change email service providers to get a good plug-in if you don't hurry up!)
