We recently had a workstation meltdown and needed to re-install the product. The support team was quick to locate our key and get us running in no time. Kudo's to Outlander, a job well done.

5.0 out of 5 stars	Great Product and Service Reviewed by minkatec (04/13/2010) Works beautifully synchronizing calendars and important client e-mails. Don't really use tasks but that's there too. We're currently running Sugar Community Edition 5.2. Previously ran Outlander on XP Pro x64 now running on Windows 7 x64 no problems with both. Support has been excellent. The only time I needed support was when I upgraded my machine to Windows 7. I received a reply within 12 hours which is outstanding in my book. After getting going on my new install, I blew up my machine the very next day... support again was quick and excellent. Outlander completes the loop in getting everything to my iPhone. I can't live without it.

Contact Sync is erroring out if the "Company" information is provided I could figure this as an SugarCRM module access related issue (may be Account module), as without the Comapny information in Outlook the contact is sync-ing fine. Even with all access enabled, a contact with company information is sync-ing fine... So, what access is required for a Contact Sync, with company specified, to work?

5.0 out of 5 stars	Great software, great customer service Reviewed by pekkap (08/25/2009) My company's basic needs for sugarcrm-outlook integration are: 1. To archive e-mails from outlook to crm quickly and 2. to synchronize calendar events from crm to outlook reliably. I and my colleagues are extremely satisfied in how Outlander fulfills these needs. In addition I'm delighted about Outlander's customer service. It was fast, friendly and gave me what I asked for. They for example helped me in re-activating Outlander after computer crash. Keep up the goo work!

Saves a great deal of time administering customer accounts. Customer Service department was very helpful in solving the sole issue I had installing on one of the many machines in our office. Overall...5 stars definetely.

After reading some of the other reviews i was quick to jump bottom line - the product works great - no issues - smooth and easy to run and install and run - excelletnt job AND THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!!!!

Reviewed by rebelnet (05/03/2009) its to bad, its a great program and works great - provided you dont need to reinstall the key you get 1 key code license, if your computer crashes and it you need to reinstall - your out of luck - program work and installed very easy -- i see the need for a good outlook plug in - to bad these guys are gone!!

I had intially an issue with the activation but that was due to a false proxy setting. The outlander guys replied quickly to my email. However couldn't help much since there was no issue with the activation-server and the bug on my side. I have tested also Grinmark which also did a fine job but I like the mail archiving function of Outlander better. It allows me to edit the mail before archiving. The one time fee is cool. I simply hope that the activitation checks against e.g. the MAC-address and allows an easy re-activation.

The original author seems to have left the company. The people left behind showed signs of struggling and have now pulled the support forum, stating that "...there is no technical support available for the trial or full versions of the Outlander plug-in." 2. When you purchase Outlander, you get a one-time-only product activiation. This means that if you buy a new PC or have to do a complete system restore then you will need their support to reactivate the product. Either that or pay for your license again. Perhaps the owners of the product could do the decent thing and release it into the wild, for the open source community to take on?

1.0 out of 5 stars	Out of Business Reviewed by jhobart (11/04/2008) They appear to be out of business. This is a 15 day trial for which you can not purchase a license key. Their website (www.outlanderplugin.com) is dead. The phone number listed in the WHOIS database for the domain is disconnected. There is another possibly related domain (www.hereware.net) which has no contact information except an email address demo@hereware.net which gets a 550 User Unknown error. The phone number listed on this website is also disconnected. I'll give this a 1 star despite the fact that it worked well and suited our needs. Were we able to continue using it beyond their 15 day trial we most certainly would. Unfortunate.

Sounds to me like other reviews here were posted by company employees. BTW: Outlander claims that plug-in works with 5.0 CE. I definitely does not!

Although i have not tried out the other alternatives to compare, this one just fully matches my needs and expectations. And although i had some flaws with it in the beginning, their support was super responsive and would not rest to fix my problems. Worth every dollar of the USD 39....

The Sugar Outlook plugin can only be had through the Sugar network at $119 per user. For my small company we needed a plugin that worked and was inexpensive. At $39 The Outlander plugin met that need and to date every issue we have had has been quickly resolved by the Outlander support folks.

I dont normallly write reviews but I feel i have to rise to the plate to clarify. In my opinion Sugar Plugin for MS Outlook is by far the most well thought out and easy to use out of all these plugins. Sugar Plugin has much more sensible context sensitive menus that allow u to add leads,opportunities,cases when u are in the mail tab of outlook. This is extremely powerful . I use a solution where my marketer use outlook ,sugar plugin and klip folio .They simultaneously add accounts and contacts from outlook contacts . And they all get to see whos marketing to whom from the klipfolia. I have not found reliability issues at all with SugarPlugin . Outlander is weak,Grinmark is the least sensible. SugarPlugin wins this hands down

I personnally tried several plugin available on sugarforge, but most of them does job or make your contact database messy. Only Outlander provides simple functionnalities for data sync. Even if this plugin is quite basic, but it does the job very well.

It does not work and is not even still being supported! Somebody needs to take it down before it damages anymore systems!) Sorry about the rant. I have been a bit wary of installing anything else to try and sync with Outlook. But I have been very pleased with this Outlander tool. It installed without problem, connected to our remote hosted sugar solution without us having to even contact our sugar provider, and outside of a DLL issue that an email to support got fixed the same day, I have yet to have any issues at all (and the DLL issue seems to have been caused by my earlier install of JRabbit!). So good product, and great support - that's 5 stars to me.

Reviewed by ctaylorgraham (10/02/2007) Even the guys who invented the intellisync system know that this kind of app rarely works properly, but Outlander kicks it! I've moaned and groaned about usability when it comes to CRM/Outlook plugins because they seem to use more time than they save. Finally I've got something that was designed to save me time.
